I’ve been taking pictures my whole life. I’ve taken millions of photographs. Of births, and birthdays, weddings, garden parties and housewarmings...
I’ve broken cameras from taking too many pictures with them.
Several in fact (don’t worry, I always carry a backup.)
At the heart of my work, you’ll find natural light, connection and beauty.
It’s not about one perfect shot, it’s about meaning, through many photographs together. That’s when they make you feel something.
I devote a lot of energy to my editorial shoots.
That’s where I’m courageous about my instincts and ideas.
It's where my creativity comes to the surface and this shines through in my wedding & couples shoots.
A modern bride - who chooses elegance and style, who lives their life fully - is my muse.
My running playlists are full of ballads. Let’s leave it at that.
Art. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at an exhibition. I spend whole days in a gallery or museum. I find great comfort in it.
I can’t get enough of period dramas. The Age Of Innocence is my favourite but anything Jane Austen will do.
Travelling. All you have to do is look and listen with an open mind. Nothing sounds like New Orleans. Nothing feels like the Scottish wind or smells like an orange grove in the Algarve. That’s my huge inspiration, it shakes all the senses.
It is about paying attention, remembering, understanding what you see and answering back, participating in life.
My photographs will tell the story of how it felt on the day.
I’ll help you ensure the wedding day flows smoothly while I capture every beautiful moment.
The day before, I’ll be scouting your venue, checking the light and finding all the best spots so that your big day doesn’t turn into a photoshoot and you can enjoy as much of it as possible with your friends and family.
I’ll arrive full of energy to capture one of the most memorable days in your lives. From mother-of-the-bride helping her to get ready until the first dance - I’ll be behind the scenes photographing the moments and details you might have missed.
Living in Paris sharpens my senses. Being surrounded by every type of art. Poetry readings crammed in hot, dark, basement bars, writers talks outside Shakespeare & Co on a Summer's evening, contemporary ballet shows, sound design, the International Dahlia Beauty Contest. Everything is an aesthetic experience here, it’s like living on a film set.
I also find inspiration in natural light, sculpture, silent movies, Paul Thomas Anderson, the Scottish Highlands, tonality, fashion, Sally Mann, anachronisms, chandeliers, the last hours of a party, the moment before a storm, windblown hair, Twin Peaks, imperfections, movement, the blue hour.
The stories you tell me, the gestures you make to each other, your quirks.
So just be you and I’ll handle the rest.
I portray relationships, with all the nuances and delicacies, fleeting moments of beauty.
My work is about empathising and reflecting the most authentic & natural you, in the most elegant & beautiful way.
I want you to look back at these photos and remember all the feelings you felt that day.
"Love the way you see the world, Agata. It’s really unique and so are our pictures - they are real pieces of art! We chose you because of your editorial style and the result is just gorgeous! Thank you so much, it was wonderful to work with you!"
"Thank you, Agata, for everything! We feel so lucky to have had you capturing this special day for us. You were so professional and made my now-husband very comfortable around camera even though he has no patience for photos. I was really happy with the photos and how quickly you delivered everything. You really captured our feelings."
"We didn't want anything too posed or traditional and absolutely love how your photos are natural and yet artful. You brought so much great energy and vision to capture us in the most special way. Thank you for great memories and for so much fun hanging out together!"
