I’ve been taking pictures my whole life. I’ve taken millions of photographs. Of births, and birthdays, weddings, garden parties and housewarmings...
I’ve broken cameras from taking too many pictures with them.
Several in fact (don’t worry, I always carry a backup.)
At the heart of my work, you’ll find natural light, connection and beauty.
It’s not about one perfect shot, it’s about meaning, through many photographs together. That’s when they make you feel something.
I devote a lot of energy to my editorial shoots.
That’s where I’m courageous about my instincts and ideas.
It's where my creativity comes to the surface and this shines through in my wedding & couples shoots.
A modern bride - who chooses elegance and style, who lives their life fully - is my muse.
My running playlists are full of ballads. Let’s leave it at that.
Art. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at an exhibition. I spend whole days in a gallery or museum. I find great comfort in it.
I can’t get enough of period dramas. The Age Of Innocence is my favourite but anything Jane Austen will do.
Travelling. All you have to do is look and listen with an open mind. Nothing sounds like New Orleans. Nothing feels like the Scottish wind or smells like an orange grove in the Algarve. That’s my huge inspiration, it shakes all the senses.
It is about paying attention, remembering, understanding what you see and answering back, participating in life.
My photographs will tell the story of how it felt on the day.
I’ll help you ensure the wedding day flows smoothly while I capture every beautiful moment.
The day before, I’ll be scouting your venue, checking the light and finding all the best spots so that your big day doesn’t turn into a photoshoot and you can enjoy as much of it as possible with your friends and family.
I’ll arrive full of energy to capture one of the most memorable days in your lives. From mother-of-the-bride helping her to get ready until the first dance - I’ll be behind the scenes photographing the moments and details you might have missed.
Living in Paris sharpens my senses. Being surrounded by every type of art. Poetry readings crammed in hot, dark, basement bars, writers talks outside Shakespeare & Co on a Summer's evening, contemporary ballet shows, sound design, the International Dahlia Beauty Contest. Everything is an aesthetic experience here, it’s like living on a film set.
I also find inspiration in natural light, sculpture, silent movies, Paul Thomas Anderson, the Scottish Highlands, tonality, fashion, Sally Mann, anachronisms, chandeliers, the last hours of a party, the moment before a storm, windblown hair, Twin Peaks, imperfections, movement, the blue hour.
The stories you tell me, the gestures you make to each other, your quirks.
So just be you and I’ll handle the rest.
I portray relationships, with all the nuances and delicacies, fleeting moments of beauty.
My work is about empathising and reflecting the most authentic & natural you, in the most elegant & beautiful way.
I want you to look back at these photos and remember all the feelings you felt that day.
"Agata!! You’ve outdone yourself yet again, each picture is an absolute masterpiece. We have spent the past hour lovingly gazing at the magic you have created. We feel so lucky that we got to have you as our photographer capturing our day so perfectly. These are all works of art that we cannot wait to display for a lifetime and show off to everyone we meet. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job!"
"Agata was an absolute dream to work with! She took the time to truly understand our vision for a more candid and editorial approach to wedding photos, and delivered far beyond our expectations. She scoped out the most incredible spots in Lisbon for our photo shoot before the welcome party, and every spot she picked was perfect and exactly the vibe we were going for. Her warm and approachable personality made us feel comfortable and eased any awkwardness, and she demonstrated deep expertise and professionalism as she gently guided us, while leaving room for unexpected moments of magic. On the day of the wedding, she was somehow everywhere and nowhere! She captured all the love, joy and fun that we experienced with our friends and family in a way that was so authentic and natural. We will forever be grateful that we got lucky enough to work with Agata as our photographer, and will cherish these photos forever. Thank you for being a part of our special day (and for making us look like movie stars)! "
"Agata was recommended to us by a friend of a friend and we are so ecstatic that she was. From the very first meeting, she made us feel instantly comfortable - not being totally comfortable in front of a camera, we told Agata and she made us feel completely at ease. Every meeting or conversation thereafter only further instilled our confidence in her… and then came the wedding day. Agata photographed both our welcome rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and we were blown away. She was so organized, in control, knew how to capture moments without them feeling forced, always let us know what was coming next and was such an incredible pleasure to be around. Aside from being our photographer, we felt like she was so much more! She captured moments that we will cherish forever in an artful and beautiful way - and we will be forever grateful. All of our guests commented on how warm and welcoming she was to each of them. We will happily be a reference for any future couples getting married - she was genuinely the best decision we made for our wedding.
"Agata!!!!! I don’t even know what to say, Kenny and I are beyond speechless! These photos are so moving and tell such a great story. You’ve captured our love so organically yet somehow made us look like models. You completely understood my vision, but then elevated it. Each photo just left our jaws dropped. You are so talented, thank you so much for this day and these memories
Love, Kenny and Sonam"
