Intimate Wedding In A Sintra Palace

palace sculptures

Stephany and Rafael tied the knot in Sintra with a stunning view of the garden littered with Spring, sculptures, statues.  They wanted to celebrate their day with style and in an intimate way: “a relaxed, simple wedding without the planning overshadowing the whole event.”

Ivnna from The Wedding Wonderland, planned the day combining all these elements with Portuguese architecture and pastel shades in the backdrop. She suggested the vintage wedding dress by Giambattista Valli and created this celebration with timeless elegance. The vibrant bouquet arranged by Decofloralia was a beautiful pop of colour in the royal gardens.

XVIII century Queluz Palace, with classical Portuguese extravagance and charm, was the perfect choice. Whenever there’s a personal touch to the wedding decor and style, it makes the day so much more meaningful and unique and here it felt really special – also because the newly weds were super friendly and amazingly gracious.

The story and an interview with Stephany was published on my beloved wedding blog – The Anti-Bride.
